A guided tour of the Hellenic Museum’s exhibition, Gods, Myths & Mortals with one of the Museum’s trained docents is an excellent opportunity to get closer to 8,000 years of Greek history.
The intimate scale of the exhibition clearly showcases the art and artefacts, and celebrates the changing culture and history of Greece.
Perfect for community groups, school groups or school holiday outings the informative hour-long tours are available on weekdays and weekends and are available in English or Greek.
The exhibition’s carefully curated objects trace the development of tools and technologies, the expansion of trade, the role of myth and the shift towards monotheism as well as the maintenance of identity during foreign rule and the emergence of the Greek state.
Tours cost $10 per person for concession and $15 per person for adults (minimum of 8 people per tour). Advance reservations are required for all tour groups.
If you would like to book a tour contact the Hellenic Museum on 86159016 or visit the Hellenic Museum website at https://www.hellenic.org.au/tours
