Victoria has recorded 1,003 new COVID-19 cases and 14 deaths.
There are now 15,031 active cases of the virus in Victoria, and 390 people have died during the state’s current Delta outbreak.
There are now 471 people in hospital with COVID-19, of whom 84 are in intensive care and 46 are on a ventilator.
The new cases were detected from 71,601 test results received yesterday.
There were 10,778 doses of vaccine given at state-run sites yesterday, as well as more vaccinations at GP clinics and other venues.
