Victoria has recorded a rise in the number of daily coronavirus infections, with 76 new cases diagnosed in the last 24 hours.
The number of deaths has also risen by 11 today, bringing the state’s death toll to 694.
Today’s figures are up slightly from yesterday when 55 cases were recorded.
Victoria’s health authorities yesterday released a list of high-risk locations for contracting coronavirus.
The locations include places where someone infected with COVID-19 has attended.
The list has been published as part of the state’s new data dashboard of coronavirus figures on the DHHS website.
Currently, the outbreaks with the highest number of active cases:
• 18 active cases are currently linked to Frankston Hospital
• 12 active cases are currently linked to Vawdrey Australia Truck Manufacturer
• 15 active cases are currently linked to Bulla Dairy Foods in Colac
• 13 active cases are currently linked to Dandenong Police Station
The department is also investigating cases linked to Crocmedia in Southbank, eStore Logistics in Derrimut and at OpalHobsons Bay aged care facility in Altona North.
The state’s total number of active cases is now 1772.
