The 54-year-old rapper and music mogul was arrested by federal agents in New York this September, facing charges of trafficking, sexual assault, and rape – “He exploited his connections with celebrities”.
Diddy’s arrest is leading to the collapse of Hollywood, or so say the “online investigators” on TikTok.
The arrest of P. Diddy, also known as Puff Daddy, or by his real name, Sean John Combs, seems set to reveal much more than we might have expected about what goes on in Hollywood – or what we thought we could bear.
There are numerous conspiracy theories, and even more details about what transpired at his “White Parties“, which later turned into more private gatherings, dubbed “Freak Offs”.
One thing is clear: many of the most famous names in the music industry and entertainment at large attended these parties, alongside several political figures, with guest lists that seemed endless.
However, the mere presence of these individuals raises questions about the unimaginable acts committed – and against whom – at these parties.
What is certain is that P. Diddy is emerging as one of the most powerful figures in Hollywood, with many reportedly signing an “omertà” in his name – chiefly for the sake of their careers – to avoid ruining what already existed or to elevate their status even higher.
What exactly is Diddy accused of so far?
Combs faces two types of charges: a criminal case brought by the federal government and several civil suits filed by individuals, each encompassing different allegations.
Regarding the criminal charges from the government, they pertain to his business, which he allegedly used for criminal activities, including sexual trafficking and abductions. All of this was, of course, concealed with the extortion of his victims.
As for the civil cases, they began with Cassie (Casandra Ventura), his former partner and singer, who sued him for years of physical and sexual abuse.
Four other cases were filed immediately afterward, three by women alleging they were raped (in some instances, drugged) and one by a male music producer who accused Diddy of assaulting him and forcing him to hire sex workers.

What’s happening with 1,000 baby oil bottles?
One of the more bizarre details in Diddy’s charge sheet is that authorities reportedly seized “more than 1,000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant” during searches of the mogul’s residences in Miami and Los Angeles earlier this year.
Prosecutors say that the baby oil was intended for various appearances, and his former partner also mentioned in her suit that she was told to apply “excessive” amounts of baby oil on herself at different events.
While possession of baby oil is not a crime by itself, this detail holds little weight compared to the violent and disturbing behavior for which Combs has been accused.
Nonetheless, it’s not unusual for prosecutors to include shocking details in the indictment of a public figure like Combs, knowing it will grab headlines. The baby oil certainly did just that.
Which other celebrities are involved?
At this juncture, it’s important to note that no other individuals, whether famous or not, have been charged alongside P. Diddy, either concerning state charges or in the civil suits for physical abuse that have been filed.
However, as previously mentioned, P. Diddy had significant power in the entertainment world, with many celebrities being friends with him and having attended his infamous parties. Let’s not forget that JLo was once his girlfriend, while Ashton Kutcher was a close friend.
Thus, many who attended his parties likely knew what was going on. Whether or not they will be deemed complicit in P. Diddy’s criminality remains to be seen.
Nevertheless, “online detectives” on TikTok have linked his case especially to two names – Beyoncé and Jay-Z.
Beyoncé, Jay-Z, and the “murders”
Here begin the first conspiracy theories, revolving around 3 murders.
According to these theories, P. Diddy’s close friend Jay-Z was in love with Aaliyah, an R&B phenomenon who rightfully earned the title of “Princess of R&B”.
Jay-Z had feelings for Aaliyah and wanted to date her, something that many others also desired.
Realizing this would not happen, he turned to Beyoncé – or she to him – and they began a relationship, seeking to “remove” Aaliyah from the picture to elevate Beyoncé, who at the time was part of Destiny’s Child and held much less fame than Aaliyah.
Rumors – possibly including Usher – suggest the 43-year-old was the mastermind behind many horrific events.
Aaliyah’s death, by the way, was quite suspicious. It was an airplane crash that occurred after she completed filming her music video for “Rock the Boat” in the Bahamas (where it could have been filmed in Miami), en route to Florida, on a flight piloted by someone who was not licensed and reportedly overloaded with equipment for the video.
As for the deaths of Michael Jackson and Left Eye, it’s alleged these incidents were not coincidental but occurred because the two artists knew all that transpired at Diddy’s parties and wanted to reveal the truth, leading to their “silencing.”
The “King of Pop” reportedly stated in a phone call before his passing that he believed someone wanted to kill him, while Left Eye died in a traffic accident under unclear circumstances.
If all this doesn’t seem frightening enough, rapper J. Cole released his single “She Knows” in 2013, referencing the deaths of Aaliyah, Left Eye, and Michael Jackson, concluding with the lyric “She Knows,” which TikTokers relate to Jay-Z, whose first name is Shawn, and Beyoncé, whose last name is Knowles.
The “submission” to Beyoncé
Truth be told, every time another artist, aside from Beyoncé, wins an award in music, she passionately praises her instead of focusing on her own success.
Britney Spears and Adele (at the Grammy ceremony she broke to share an award with Beyoncé), were just a few examples.
This did not occur in 2017, when Taylor Swift won at the MTV Awards, and while she wanted to speak about her achievement, Kanye West – whom many misjudged at that time – took the floor to declare that the best album was by Beyoncé, “saving,” as many say today, Taylor from fury.
Extreme? Perhaps not!
Bieber and Usher’s abuse by Diddy
Moreover, it doesn’t stop there, as some of Justin Bieber’s songs or certain videos with Diddy from when he was 15 have gone viral on TikTok, with users claiming they prove that Bieber was indeed abused by the rapper and producer.
This alleged abuse is cited as a reason for his eventual withdrawal and even for his breakup with Selena Gomez, purportedly to protect her from this chaos. He hasn’t publicly responded to any of these claims.
Bieber lived with P. Diddy for an extended period and collaborated with him in his early successful years that coincided with his teenage years.
However, it’s said that he was also abused by the rapper, just like Usher, who was Diddy’s previous “best friend” before Bieber.
At just 13, Usher spent a year living with his “friend” Diddy, later stating that he would not let his own children go to Diddy’s “Flavor Camp” nor would he want to relive the “wild” lifestyle beside him.
While all these allegations of boy abuse by Diddy sound extreme, there was even a public accusation from former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight, who claimed in an interview that Diddy and other music stars are victims of abuse from a “cult” of very powerful names.
Suge essentially spoke of a network controlling many artists, including Diddy, Bieber, and Usher with drugs, alcohol, and sex.
To escape this network, it’s said that you had to initiate someone else into all this, and for Usher, that someone was purportedly Bieber.
Eminem, on the other hand, might have had something to say regarding the rapes committed by Diddy in his song “Fuel”, where he refers to someone with many “essay’s” or S.A.’s (meaning Sexual Assaults), and denies the “P” in rapper to mimic the word rapist: «he leave out a P, did he?» with the line sounding like it says “P. Diddy” at the end.
What’s happening already with Diddy’s collaborations and businesses?
Certainly, all these allegations and Diddy’s arrest are having financial repercussions on his collaborations and businesses.
Diageo, the spirits brand that Diddy once partnered with for vodka and tequila, swiftly removed his image from its website, and the partnership was dissolved following a settlement over a different issue earlier in January.
Capital Preparatory Schools, a New York charter school network that Combs helped expand, issued a statement on its website last fall stating that it would cease its relationship with him (though the statement was later removed).
Combs was also sidelined as president of Revolt, a television network he helped start in 2013, and he officially sold his stake this summer.
Moreover, according to the Daily Beast, the website for Sean John (his clothing company) has since been taken down.
Additionally, as reported by New York Magazine, there is no longer a dedicated “Sean Diddy Combs Day” in Miami.

According to the Associated Press (AP), singer Cassie files a lawsuit accusing Combs of years of physical and sexual abuse. Through his attorney, Combs denies the allegations. Following the publication of Cassie’s lawsuit, others proceeded with similar complaints also accusing the music mogul of sexual abuse.
November 17, 2023: Cassie & Combs reach a settlement
Within less than 24 hours of the lawsuit being filed, Cassie and Combs reached a settlement. “I decided to resolve this matter amicably under terms that would give me some level of control,” Cassie stated in a statement from her attorney, Douglas Wigdor. “I want to thank my family, my fans, and my attorneys for their unwavering support.”
Combs responded with a statement: “We decided to amicably resolve this matter. I wish Cassie and her family the best. With love.”
November 23, 2023: Combs faces sexual assault and drug charges stemming from incidents in the early 1990s.
Combs was hit with two lawsuits for sexual assault. One was from an anonymous plaintiff who claimed he sexually assaulted and beat her, while the other was filed by a woman named Joi Dickerson-Neal, who accused him of drugging and sexually assaulting her while she was a student in 1991. Dickerson-Neal alleged that Diddy had footage of the assault and allegedly distributed it to others around the music industry.
November 28, 2023: Steps down as president of Revolt
With three lawsuits filed against him, Combs agreed to resign from his role at Revolt – an organization he helped establish in 2013 – and will no longer be president of the digital media company.

December 6, 2023: Combs denies all claims after the fourth lawsuit is filed.
A woman identified as Jane Doe in legal documents becomes the fourth person to accuse Diddy of sexual assault – specifically gang rape – along with sex trafficking allegations.
She claims that in 2003, Harve Pierre, then president of Combs’ Bad Boy Records, flew her privately from Detroit to New York, where Combs, Pierre, and a third man raped her when she was a minor at 17 years old. Pierre denies the allegations.
In a statement published on Instagram on December 6, Combs denies all allegations of sexual assault, stating: “Disgusting claims have been made against me by individuals seeking a quick payout. Let me be absolutely clear: I did none of the vile things they claim. I will fight for my name, my family, and for the truth.”
December 10, 2023: Brands cut ties with his e-commerce company.
Eighteen brands severed ties with Combs’ e-commerce company, Empower Global, in the wake of increasing allegations of sexual misconduct against him.
February 26, 2024: Music producer sues Combs.
Producer Rodney “Lil Rod” Jones Jr. who worked on The Love Album: Off the Grid in 2023, filed a lawsuit against Combs in February. He accused him of sexual harassment and assault. He also claimed that he “forced” him to “invite sex workers” – some of whom were allegedly minors – and to have them “perform sexual acts for the defendant’s pleasure,” according to the allegation.
Combs’ attorney, Shawn Holley, denied Jones Jr.’s claims in a statement shared with Billboard, saying the producer was simply “seeking an unjustified payout.” “We have overwhelming, irrefutable evidence that his claims are outright lies. We will contest these outrageous accusations in court and take all appropriate action against those who make them.”
March 25, 2024: Federal agents raid homes in Los Angeles and Miami.
Department of Homeland Security agents issued search warrants, with federal agents raiding Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Miami on March 25.
The Homeland Security raids were reportedly conducted “in connection” to an ongoing federal investigation into sex trafficking, according to CNN.
March 25, 2024: Alleged associate arrested on drug charges.
A 25-year-old man accused of being a drug runner for Diddy was arrested at Opa-Locka airport on March 25, just as raids were taking place at Combs’ homes in Los Angeles and Miami. According to Rolling Stone, Brendan Paul was arrested on two drug possession charges for cocaine and marijuana.
March 26, 2024: Sells stake in Revolt.
Combs reportedly agreed to a deal selling his stake in Revolt TV after stepping down from the role of president in November amid allegations of sexual assault. According to TMZ, the mogul sold his remaining shares to an anonymous buyer.
May 10, 2024: Combs asks a judge to dismiss the rape suit.
On May 10, Combs asked a federal judge to dismiss Jane Doe’s rape suit filed in December 2023, describing the allegations that he and two co-defendants raped a 17-year-old girl in 2003 as “false and repugnant.” He also argued that the case was filed too late according to the law.
May 17, 2024: Video of hotel attack surfaces.
Security footage obtained by CNN showed Combs appearing to physically assault his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura during a hotel stay.
In the video, Combs – wearing nothing but a white towel around his waist – pushed Ventura to the ground, kicked her several times while she was down, and dragged her down a hallway. He later appeared to sit in a chair, then grabbed something from a table and seemed to throw it at her. He then walked away before turning back to Ventura as she opened one of the elevator doors and someone was seen exiting.
This incident largely mirrored Ventura’s assault claims against Combs in her lawsuit.

May 19, 2024: Combs apologizes for the hotel incident.
Two days after the hotel video was released – and after months of claiming his innocence against multiple assault allegations – Combs published a 70-second apology that he recorded himself on Instagram.
“It’s so hard to think about the darkest moments of your life, but sometimes you have to do that,” he said in the clip. “I was a mess. I mean, I hit rock bottom. But I’m not making excuses. My behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I’m disgusted. I was disgusted back then when I did it, and I’m disgusted now.”
“I went and sought professional help,” he continued. “I had to go to therapy, to rehab. I had to ask God for mercy and grace. I’m very sorry. But I am committed to being a better person every day. I am not asking for forgiveness. I am sincerely sorry.”
May 20, 2024: NYC Mayor considers revoking Combs’ key to the city.
Shortly after the hotel video surfaced from 2016, New York City Mayor Eric Adams revealed in an interview that he and his staff were contemplating revoking the key to the city that was given to Combs in September 2023.
“I think all of us were deeply disturbed to see that disturbing video with the young woman being assaulted by him, and the committee and the team – we have never revoked a key before, but now we are sitting down to see what the next steps are,” he said to PIX11. “We’re taking everything into consideration and the team will get back to me with a final decision.”
May 21, 2024: Combs faces alleged sexual assault.
Crystal McKinney accused Combs of sexual assault in a lawsuit filed against him on May 21, claiming he forced her to perform oral sex in a bathroom at a recording studio in New York in 2003.
McKinney also alleged that she was given alcohol and marijuana that she later believed was laced “with a drug or other intoxicant.” After the alleged assault, she states she “woke up in shock” and found herself in a cab leaving the scene.
Named as co-defendants in the lawsuit are Combs’ record label, Bad Boy Records, its parent company Universal Music Group, and Combs’ clothing company, Sean John Clothing, which McKinney claims “permitted” the alleged assault by “actively keeping and employing Combs in positions of power” despite purportedly “knowing or should have known that Combs posed a risk of sexual assault.”
May 23, 2024: Cassie breaks her silence.
Nearly a week after the hotel footage surfaced, Cassie spoke about the material after previously having only discussed it through her attorneys. “Thank you for all the love and support from my family, friends, strangers, and those I have yet to meet,” she wrote in an Instagram statement that did not mention Diddy.

September 16, 2024: Diddy is arrested.
He was arrested in Manhattan following a lawsuit filed against him by a grand jury. Marc Agnifilo, one of the mogul’s attorneys, confirmed the arrest to multiple news outlets including CNN and NBC News late on September 16.
“We are disappointed at the decision of the U.S. Attorney’s Office to bring what we believe is an unfair prosecution against Mr. Combs,” he stated, describing his client as an imperfect person who is not a criminal. “In his honor, Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and voluntarily moved to New York last week in anticipation of these charges.”
September 17, 2024: Charges are revealed, bail denied.
Federal prosecutors revealed the indictment the morning after Diddy’s arrest, announcing that the musician is accused of leading an extortion conspiracy involving sex trafficking, forced labor, bribery, and other crimes. “For decades, Sean Combs … has assaulted, threatened, and coerced women and others around him to fulfill his sexual desires, protect his reputation, and conceal his behavior,” the documents obtained by Billboard state. “To achieve this, Combs relied on the employees, resources, and influence of his multifaceted business empire, which he led and controlled.”
Hours after the indictment was revealed, a federal judge denied Diddy bail during a hearing, meaning Combs – who earlier in the day pleaded not guilty to a series of charges – will remain behind bars until his trial.
September 18, 2024: Bail challenged once more.
Once again, Diddy was denied bail after a federal judge ruled that the accused rapper would pose a flight risk and could intimidate witnesses if released. At a hearing in federal court in Manhattan, Combs’ attorneys renewed their request to have him released to await his trial on the sex trafficking and extortion charges under house arrest at his Miami mansion, again offering to post a $50 million bond and comply with other stringent requirements. However, just as had been ruled a day earlier, Judge Andrew L. Carter determined that Diddy would instead await trial in a Brooklyn federal jail, citing concerns that the once-powerful mogul could pose a danger to others or obstruct the government’s case.
Diddy awaits trial in a celebrity hell
The 54-year-old remains locked up in New York’s only federal jail, the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn. It’s been described as a “hell on Earth,” with problems plaguing its operation since it opened in the ’90s.
Conditions are so dire that some judges refuse to send inmates there.
Not so for those who have taken on the cases of convicted sex trafficker R. Kelly, longtime associate of the pedophile and human trafficker Jeffry Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, and Donald Trump’s associate in controversial cases (like the sexual scandal with Stormy Daniels), Michael Cohen.
The defendant’s representatives proposed $50 million bail, surrendering his passport, submitting to weekly drug tests, and maintaining a visitor log to await in his home for court day (9/10) rather than in jail.
If convicted, Diddy faces a mandatory minimum sentence of 15 years in prison and possibly life imprisonment.
