Opinion Poll: ND leads by 16.3 points – rising public discontent and political fluidity

14 October, 2025

A new Opinion Poll survey for October shows the New Democracy (ND) party maintaining a 16.3-point lead over PASOK, but with growing public dissatisfaction and a volatile political landscape.

ND records 30.1% (-0.4%), PASOK 13.8% (-0.2%), and Greek Solution 11.1% (-0.4%), while Freedom Sailing falls to 10.9% (-0.8%). Next come KKE (7.6%), SYRIZA (4.5%), Voice of Logic (4.5%), MeRA25 (3.2%), Democracy Movement (2.6%), Victory (2.3%), and New Left (1.2%).

Support for “Other parties” rises sharply to 8.2%, and the so-called “grey zone” — undecided voters and supporters of minor parties — has reached 26%, suggesting deep political fluidity.

Only 27.5% of respondents have a positive view of the government’s performance, compared to 70.7% who express dissatisfaction. Regarding suitability for Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis leads with 28.1%, but “None” comes first with 31.3%, reflecting public fatigue.

When asked if they would vote for a hypothetical “Tsipras Party”, only 8.6% said “definitely yes” and 17.5% “possibly,” bringing potential support down to 26.1%, lower than in September.

The cost of living crisis remains the top concern (55.5%), followed by the economy (25.6%), justice and rule of law (16.1%), and corruption (15.9%).

The poll underscores a steady ND lead amid growing disillusionment, revealing a period of political stagnation and voter uncertainty across Greece.
