NPL – ROUND 2 The Cannons make two out of two

Oakleigh Cannons secured their second win for the season after defeating Heidelberg United 3-2.
The Cannons dominated the game and were up 3-1 in the second half.

Oakleigh will be hosting South Melbourne at Jack Edwards Rseserve this Friday night, with the former Greek international star George Karagounis to be the special guest.
South Melbourne bounced back after their defeat in their opening round from Heidelberg and defeated the Eastern Lions 5-2 , whilst Port Melbourne shared the points with Bentleigh Greens after their 1-1 draw at JL Murhy Reserve.

Hume City lead the NPL ladder after defeating Green Gully 2-0.
