The Frankston Police service area described the man’s behaviour as “erratic and dangerous.” A police spokesperson stated that officers responded swiftly and managed to arrest the suspect before he could cause further harm. Despite the quick intervention, the woman who was assaulted had already left the scene before the police could speak with her and record her statement.
