A 14-year-old girl was killed on Friday at a
horrific accident in an amusement park near the Greek sea-side city of Volos.
The accident happened at the town of Almyros when the teenager fell from a spinning wheel and was crushed against another machine.
According to eyewitnesses quoted by local site magnesianews.gr, the wheel was going too fast either due to a mechanical fault or human error.
Police have arrested the owner of the park and are conducting inquiries into its safety features.
