EURO 2024: The landscape after the first round of the group stage

The 1st round of the group stage of EURO 2024 concluded with Portugal’s victory over the Czech Republic. In the first 12 games of the competition, 11 of them were won and only one was drawn. In fact, it is noteworthy that every match had scores, as none of them were deadlocked at the “X” so far. In fact, so far it’s been a pretty productive tournament, as 34 goals have already been scored.

Of the stronger teams in the competition, Germany, Spain, Italy, England, France, the Netherlands and Portugal all started their campaigns with wins, while Belgium were beaten by Slovakia in the big upset of the tournament thus far.
