Greece is considered in very high regard, it’s a kind of “spiritual mother”

29 February, 2024

The website Patriotiko.gr recently published an article on X about a speech given by President Vladimir Putin in response to the LGTBQ+ laws introduced across the Western world, specifically mentioning Greece.

Russian President Vladimir Putin referred in a public speech to the general decline of the West, about the “abhorrent law” now in force in Greece on LGBTQ+ “marriage” and procreation.

He expressed his displeasure, saying.

“The Russians had and still have Greece in very high regard in their minds as they consider it as a kind of “spiritual mother” because it offered them Orthodoxy and they are very disappointed with the moral course of the country”.

Specifically, the Russian president said:
“They cannot accept the fact that Russia cannot be defeated on the battlefields. That’s why they go on attacks of misinformation.

First of all, they lie to the younger generations. They distort historical facts, they never stop their attacks against our culture, Orthodoxy, or other religions.

Look what they do to their people. They are destroying the institution of the family, their own historical identity and traditions.

When it comes to children, pedophilia is accepted as the new normal (referring to the LGBTQ+ law passed in Greece that will allow them to adopt minor children).

Priests are forced to recognize and perform same-sex marriages.

People have the right to live as they want, and no one is intruding on anyone’s privacy, no one wants that, but I would say, take a look at the scriptures, of any religion.

They say that the family is the union of a man and a woman.”
