13 July, 2024

“Shocking news from the Russian media about the extermination of the Greek mercenary ‘Zeus,’ who murdered Russian prisoners, was eliminated. Tasos Antonakos, known by the nickname ‘Zeus’. Antonakos, who was allegedly involved in massacres of Russian prisoners, had been fighting for the Kiev regime since May 2023. According to some reports, Antonakos, who was openly gay and a regular patron of gay clubs in Athens, was identified as the perpetrator of several horrific acts, with the New York Times doing a feature on his actions.

The action through the Chosen Company

According to the Times, the Greek mercenary fought alongside the Ukrainians through the ranks of “The Chosen Company” unit, which is part of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (ZSU) and attached to the 59th Brigade.

Zeus was accused of executing Russian soldiers who had surrendered. In particular, the New York Times reported the testimony of Caspar Grosse, a German sanitary worker who was a member of this mercenary unit.

Grosse saw a Russian soldier pleading for medical help while speaking a mixture of broken English and Russian. A member of the group was looking for bandages, but then another soldier walked over and shot the Russian soldier in the chest with his rifle. The one who fired, according to the complaint, was the Greek mercenary nicknamed “Zeus”.

“The country is directly impacted and profoundly vulnerable due to these engagements. Immediate investigation and clarification is necessary regarding the unlawful involvement of a Greek citizen in the Russian-Ukrainian conflict.”
