Panathinaikos – Maccabi 81-72: The “Trileaf” officially in the Berlin Final 4

9 May, 2024

The “Greens” defeated Maccabi 81-72 in the 5th and final game of the Euroleague playoff series.

With a formidable Kendrick Nunn in their ranks, Panathinaikos managed to return to the Euroleague Final 4 after 12 years.

The Greens defeated Maccabi 81-72 in the fifth and final game of the Euroleague playoff series, after overcoming hostile officiating that did its best to keep the Israelis alive on the Athens floor.

But American guard Kendrick Nunn also played for Kostas Sloukas, who was suffering from an injury and erased any dreams with a performance straight out of his greatest nights in the NBA, leading the Trileaf team to the Berlin Final Four.

In the Berlin semifinal, Panathinaikos will face the winner of the Monaco-Fenerbache pairing, which will be decided tomorrow (8/5).

The quarters: 19-21, 41-41, 58-56, 81-72
