In tough conditions in the first half, the Spartans prevailed by kicking four unanswered goals in the first quarter while keeping MHSOB goalless in the first half – a credit to everyone, in particular all of our defenders.
We were able to sustain our lead for the rest of the game eventually kicking five goals in the last quarter against a spirited opposition, ultimately winning by 43 points, in a great team effort.
That made our season undefeated which was a magnificent effort by everyone involved. Champions and Premiers. Well done to all. Now this makes it four premierships in eight years from seven grand final appearances, with some players playing in all 4 – incredible performances.
