In commemoration of the second anniversary of the disaster, the Super League has announced that a 57-second silence will be observed before the start of every match in the 25th round of the Stoiximan Super League. This decision was officially confirmed through a statement.

The statement reads: “It is announced that during all matches of the 25th Matchday of the Stoiximan Super League (March 1-2, 2025), there will be a 57-second moment of silence before the start of the matches, in memory of the 57 victims of the tragic train accident on February 28, 2023, in Tempi.”

This gesture serves as a reminder of the lives lost and the impact of the devastating accident that shook the nation. The moment of silence aims to honor those victims while bringing attention to the importance of safety and responsibility in public transport systems.
